Currently working on quite a few things from hand drawn animation to 3D modelling, compositing and painting in Photoshop.
Hopefully I'll have enough stuff to put together a half decent showreel
*fingers crossed*

I've just ordered my new PC, but it's going to take 2 weeks! MEH!
Suppose it's better than my old PC, and the bf will be happy that I will be moving the 300GB woth of raw footage, compositions and high rez photoshop files from his gradually slowing computer (Poor Matt)

Anyhow, hopefully I'll be able to get loadsa stuff up once I really begin hittin the late nights and Monster Ripper
now I've got a couple of things of my chest I thinks I will be going to bed , I've got a long day tomorrow

Attempting to do some work on Maya
I suck
Getting really frustrated trying to figure stuff out.
You know when you just think.. ah.. i'll do this.... but can I really be bothered to?

hmmm....
I want a mini project.
But I dont know what.

I'd love to be able to create a Tachikoma in maya, but that isn't really a small project for someone who lacks as much knowledge in 3d software as I do. hmmph...

I've got so much Uni work to do, It's my final year, finish in May, I want to get work done but I don't seam to be making any progress, it's really irritating.

I need some sort of magic happy potion that will make me more optomistic and better at problem solving.

*sighs*

My first journal entry.
AKA. the moan diary, lol

WELL... I have just over a month to complete all moduals for this term. Which are:
** Model in Maya part of our campus (and looking at the detail and effort of last year's submissions I rather nervous as I haven't a clue how to use Maya

** On A2 sheets, produce coloured designs for
* Characters - front, back and side
- Boo (monsters inc.)
- ED209 (Robocop 1)
- 'Blade' (played by Wesley Snipes)
- Lara Croft replacement (she's 'retiring')
- The 'Iron Giant's fatter brother
* Set designs for
- A modern day loading bay
- Submarine Interior (WW2)
- Penthouse interior view A
- Penthouse interior view B
- Landing Bay on a space station

*deep breath*

I really don't think I'm gunna get it all done *cries*

On a happier note - the essay where I: started research 4 days before the deadline, started writing it the day after, and finished it hte night before (with a spliting migraine) AND with the idea that the tutor shot down I got 14/15 *WOOP WOOP*

but yeah, Im bored, distracted, lonerly, our house has gained 2 new members who are nice, but loud *head throbs*

I Miss My Bambino
after deciding to stay at Uni for two weeks rather than goin back home like I have been doing SO I CAN DO WORK has lost it's initial intentions and Macromedias games of distraction have become more appealing than putting effort into my work

This needs to change pronto
as a matter of fact - I am now going to (attempt) *cough* some work
